Specifications
Renowned for its reliability, ruggedness and fuel economy, the 4.4 litre AGCO Power four-cylinder engine, which is at the heart of the MF 5700 M Series, delivers 95 hp to 135 hp and meets the strictest Stage V emissions regulations thanks to the award-winning All-in-One system.
With both tractor and engine coming from the same manufacturer, you can be certain they are both built to the highest manufacturing quality standards. Designed to work together, they offer unsurpassed compatibility and efficiency.
The engines used in MF 5700 M Series tractors are all of a long stroke design that provides high levels of torque across a broad speed range. Maximum torque is achieved at low engine speeds of just 1,500 rpm on the MF 5700 M Series. This not only cuts fuel consumption, but also reduces noise and wear, which results in lower running costs and a more pleasant operator experience.
All the new MF 5700 M Series are equipped with 4.4 litre, four-cylinder AGCO Power engines.
These comply with the strict Stage V emission regulations using Massey Ferguson’s award-winning ‘All-in-One’ system, which now includes a straightforward ‘soot catalyst’.
Thanks to its mounting position beneath the cab, the All-In-One system helps to maintain the tractor’s excellent visibility.
The new MF 5710 M, MF 5711 M, MF 5712 M and MF 5713 M tractors are available with a modern and highly efficient synchronised transmission.
Well proven on the previous MF 5700 and MF 6700 series, it provides a total of twelve forward and twelve reverse speeds in two ranges, with six gears are within the 4-12km/hr typical fieldwork range. The maximum speed is 40km/hr.
It’s easy to select the right speed for every job with gear levers neatly positioned, close to hand and within easy reach of the operator, but located so they don’t impede access when mounting/dismounting. A single-plate, dry-type clutch is easy to operate and simple to service. The optional Power Shuttle provides fingertip control of forward/reverse shifts, which are made without using the clutch. Instead there is an Easy Shift button on the gear lever, which can also be used to also shift gears.
A super Creeper option is also available to reduce speeds down to 100m/hr*, for work that requires slow and precise control.
* at 1,400rpm with 18.4 R 38 tyres.
The Dyna-4 transmission, available for the new MF 5709 M, MF 5710 M and MF 5711 M, delivers unrivalled productivity, control and convenience, with completely clutchless shifting of 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds.
Renowned for its outstanding, robust reliability with smooth and effortless operation, it provides completely clutchless control via the left-hand Power Control Lever or the T-lever on the right-hand console.
The AutoDrive option, which changes gears automatically according to engine load, also comes with Brake to Neutral that activates the clutch as soon as the brakes are applied. These output enhancing features relieve the load on the operator, while increasing efficiency and convenience and are particularly useful for loader operations.
The exclusive Power Control lever provides convenient three-in-one, straightforward operation. Operators can shuttle between forward/ reverse, shift Dynashift speeds and ranges and select neutral, leaving the right hand free to operate the loader or implement hydraulics.
Simply move the T-shaped transmission control lever forwards or backwards to change up or down through the four Dynashift ratios. To change range, simply press the range selection button as you move the lever.
AutoDrive (option) provides automatic shifting and operates in two modes:
- AutoDrive Power mode : Powershift changes at 2,100 rpm
- AutoDrive Eco mode : Powershift changes at 1,500 rpm
Close control in specialist low-speed tasks is assured with additional creeper gears, enabling forward speeds as low as 100m/hr to be achieved.
Smooth or quick shuttling – you choose by simply adjusting the Comfort Control to suit the job – slow and smooth or fast and efficient.
Brake to Neutral switch (Option) simultaneously operates the clutch as soon as the brake pedal is pressed. This eases the load on the operator, while increasing efficiency and convenience and is particularly useful for loader operations.
The key to efficient and effective operations is to select a tractor that can easily handle modern equipment and is able to operate them at their full potential within a wide range of agricultural applications. There is no limit to the range of powered equipment that can be put to work behind the MF 5700 M Series tractors.
A straightfoward open-centre hydraulic system is powered by two gear pumps. One provides 32 litres/min to all the internal services, while another delivers 58 litres/min to enable the electronically-controlled rear linkage to lift 4,300kg.
At the press of a button the MF 5700 M Series hydraulics can deliver 100 litres/min oil flow, making the higher flowrate available to provide extra speed and power for loader operations.
The 100 litre/min flow is exclusively for auxiliary hydraulic functions and is also available through the two standard auxiliary spool valves to operate implement hydraulic functions with a third spool valve being available as an option to power more demanding implements if required.
A separate oil pump supplies oil for tractor functions like steering.
MF 5700 M series is equipped with a two-speed 540/540E rpm as standard, but also comes with the option of a 540/1000 rpm speed PTO, or a 540/540 Eco/1000 rpm. A 21-spline shaft is an option with the 1,000 rpm PTO.
Control is via a modern independent PTO (IPTO) clutch, which is engaged electro-hydraulically and ‘eases’ the engagement, to protect the driveline by gradually taking up the drive. This well-proven control system combines upmost reliability with ease of use and is controlled simply using a three-position rocker-switch on the operator station. The electronics control the rate of engagement for more reliability – providing regulated and adjusted operation to ensure the PTO engages smoothly whatever the engine speed and the size of the implement.
As well as activating the PTO, the three-position switch has an off position, in which the shaft can be turned, as well as a ‘brake on’ position that prevents it moving, for example, in transport situations.
The MF 5700 M Series rear linkage is specifically optimised for the tractor size.
Boasting an impressive lift capacity of 4,300kg, on the MF 5709 M, MF 5710 M and MF 5711 M models, and 5,200kg on the MF 5712 M and MF 5713 M models, it lifts and handles heavy-mounted equipment with ease.
The industry leading Electronic Linkage Control (ELC) system is standard on the MF 5700 M series. Dyna-4 models have the advanced version, and 12×12 models have the basic version as standard.
ELC provides precise and responsive control of draft functions to accurately maintain the working depth for soil engaging implements, as well as the position of other mounted implements. Electronic control reacts immediately and accurately, responding quickly to maintain maximum traction at all times – minimising wheel-slip and fuel consumption.
A front linkage is available for all MF 5700 M Dyna-4 tractors. This output enhancing option substantially boosts productivity across a range of work. Equipped with suspension as standard, for improved comfort, it can also be set in three different positions: fixed, float or transport.
The MF 5700 M Series is built for hard work and to meet these demands they are equipped with the same modern, rugged rear axles as the latest advanced MF 5700 S Series.
The heavy duty, structural axle casting design contains new inboard reduction units, which employ epicyclic gears for the final speed reduction. These amplify torque to ensure maximum engine power is transmitted to the ground for the upmost traction and performance.
All models are equipped with oil-immersed multi-disc brakes, mounted at the in-board side of the axle for the highest braking efficiency on the shafts.
Designed from the outset with an emphasis on comfort and ease of use, the MF 5700 M Series tractors make hard work a pleasure.
Grab rails mounted on the large opening doors provide easy access up the steps and through the wide-opening doors. A completely flat floor creates the most accessible and spacious operator environment in this sector of the market, with a pillar to pillar width of 1,300mm.
Once seated, an ergonomically designed layout ensures ease of use with straightforward operation from features seldom found in this size and type of tractor. With its modern design, the MF 5700 M provides high levels of control and automation with electro-hydraulic activation of the diff-locks and four-wheel drive.
On Dyna-4 models, further comfort comes from the cab suspension option, which greatly increases operator well-being during long working days. The mechanical system uses two silent block bushes to support the cab at the front and spring-assisted shock absorbers on the rear corners.
Clear, bright instruments sit within a slim dashboard and show vital operating information.
The advanced Dashboard displays engine and PTO speeds, service intervals, fuel consumption, distance travelled, area worked, oil temperature and tractor hours, Engine speed memory and service information.
All MF 5700 M tractors are equipped with a sector-leading, high quality cab, offering excellent visibility through the large windscreen, wide glass doors and curved quarter windows. The great view over the bonnet is maintained thanks to the compact ‘All-in-One’ SCR system, providing 360° visibility for optimum comfort and safety at work.
The optional Visio roof further improves vision for loader operations.
The MF 5700 M Series comes with a host of modern options, including the factory-fitted loader subframe for easy mounting of the exclusively designed MF FL Series loader range, along with perfect overhead visibility from the Visio Roof, with Falling Object Protection (FOPS).
The new MF 5700 M Series can be specified fully loader-ready to accept a Massey Ferguson MF FL Series loader. Your tractor will come complete from the factory with the loader subframe, which forms an integral part of the machine and is designed to deliver maximum manoeuvrability and easy maintenance access.
- The mechanical loader joystick option is designed specifically for use with these tractors.
- The Power Shuttle option comes with Comfort Control, that allows operators to set how it responds – slow and smooth – or fast and efficient.
- Operators benefit from superb visibility thanks to the slim bonnet and dash profiles.
- The optional Visio Roof allows loader operators to continue to see the load throughout the lifting range.
Operators value the Visio Roof option, which provides perfect visibility when stacking bales or loading trailers. The glass panel includes a sun blind that can be closed or slid open into the roof. The glass panel also has a level of sun protection that helps keep operators cool in all conditions. The roof is fully FOPS (Falling Object Protection) compliant and this ensures complete safety for the operator, preventing harm from falling objects.
